Overview

Sonatus Foundation is a modular vehicle software platform that supplies OEMs and Tier-1s with the core in-vehicle and cloud services needed to transition to software-defined vehicles. It delivers configurable in-vehicle network management, secure data services, containerized application lifecycle management, and runtime/security monitoring so manufacturers can update features, manage data, and operate mixed-critical systems across the vehicle lifecycle. The product is designed to accelerate time-to-market, enable continuous improvements, and support zonal, domain, or centralized E/E topologies.

• Network management & orchestration: Sonatus Foundation provides an In-Vehicle Network Manager to create adaptive, software-defined vehicle networks that support CAN, Ethernet, and mixed-critical traffic with centralized policies for routing, segmentation, and QoS.
• Data services & management: Data Services enable secure, efficient vehicle data exchange, storage, and access; supporting telemetry, event capture, and cloud integration so OEMs can manage connected-vehicle data costs and privacy.
• Compute & container management: Container/Compute Manager supports containerized in-vehicle applications, enabling cloud-native deployment patterns, application lifecycle (deploy, update, rollback), resource controls, and portability across ECU/zone targets.
• Service-oriented application management: SOA and microservice support to simplify inter-application communication, accelerate development, and standardize service interfaces for faster integration and testing.
• Security & runtime monitoring: Security services provide configurable policies, anomaly detection, and in-vehicle monitoring to protect networks and hosts, plus telemetry for threat detection and response.
